Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Toklat Advisory LLC ("Toklat Advisory," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through toklatadvisory.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to the Site and to inquiries submitted through it. Information exchanged in a client engagement is governed by the applicable written agreement.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form or email us, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, work email, organization, role, and the contents of your message. Please share only a high-level summary. Do not submit patient information, protected health information, or other confidential or sensitive information through the Site.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our hosting provider automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and the date and time of your visit. This information may be collected through cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the Site and, where enabled, to understand how visitors use it.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to your inquiry and evaluate a potential engagement; to communicate with you about that inquiry; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use inquiry information for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to a marketing mailing list without your consent.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as our website host (Squarespace) and our email provider (Google Workspace), who process it on our behalf; with professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality; when required by law or to protect our rights; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies that are necessary for the Site to function may affect how it works. The Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and evaluate a potential engagement, generally no longer than twenty-four (24) months after our last communication, unless a longer period is required by law or the information becomes part of an engagement record.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@toklatadvisory.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will respond to verified requests as required by that law.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
